Ocean Dreams
Early GAN art from coastal images, creating three collections of dreamy, hallucinatory seascapes that inspired further.
Ocean Dreams was my first experience with StyleGANs on RunwayML in 2020. It was a custom model trained on drone images I shot around California, Hawaii, and Baja.
I produced 3 distinct collections of generated images. The dreamy, hallucinatory output led to the name Ocean Dreams for the project, which led to Flower Dreams.
