BHVR-x402
BHVR-x402 is a modern and lightweight stack for the open web and open payments
BHVR is a modern and lightweight stack for the open web that is build and maintained by my friend Steve Simkins. It uses Bun, Hono, Vite, and React to help build performant sites and apps without vendor lock-in. Deploy it together, or separate your concerns.
For a side project, I recently forked BHVR and added support for x402. x402 is an open standard built on the long-forgotten 402 error code. It enables native payments with just a few lines of code.
BHVR-x402 provides a general purpose starting point for x402 payments. Out of the box you’ll find pre-configured API endpoints (free and paid), and an SDK boilerplate. You can publish it, keep it as internal tooling, or rip it out and use the API directly. Up to you.
